2. Collection and Storage of Personal Data, as well as the Nature, Purpose, and Use

When you engage our services, we collect the following information:

  • Salutation, first and last name

  • Valid email address

  • Postal address

  • Phone number (landline and/or mobile)

  • Information necessary for asserting or defending your rights within the scope of the mandate

This data is collected in order to:

  • Identify you as our client

  • Provide appropriate legal advice and representation

  • Communicate with you

  • Issue invoices

  • Handle any potential liability claims and assert any claims against you

Processing of this data is carried out at your request and is necessary for the purposes outlined above in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, for proper handling of the mandate and the mutual fulfillment of obligations under the engagement agreement.

Personal data collected for client engagement is stored until the expiration of the statutory retention period for lawyers (6 years after the end of the calendar year in which the mandate concluded) and then deleted, unless longer storage is required under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR due to tax or commercial record-keeping obligations (HGB, StGB, or AO), or unless you have consented to further storage under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.


3. Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those specified below.

Where necessary for the execution of the mandate in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, your personal data may be shared with third parties, including opposing parties and their representatives (e.g., their lawyers), courts, and other public authorities, for correspondence and asserting or defending your rights. Data shared may only be used by the recipient for these purposes. Attorney-client privilege remains unaffected. Data subject to attorney-client privilege will only be shared with third parties in consultation with you.

You have the right to:

  • Withdraw consent at any time under Art. 7(3) GDPR, meaning we can no longer process data based on that consent in the future

Used to verify that form submissions are made by humans. Some data may be transferred to Google, including IP address and browser data. Consent is required (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and can be revoked.

6.7 Google Maps
Used for interactive maps and directions. IP address may be transmitted to Google servers in the USA under standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR). Consent is required and can be revoked.


7. Data Transfer and Disclosure
